FS SUCKS - I try to never shop there due to their generally poor service and the rampant sexism I have dealt with there. LD always gets my first look for electronics, even if I do pay a wee bit more it is worth it to me to be treated as what I am - a smart person with purchasing power.
Mind you I am a class one B($%h when it comes to sales people that ignore me to chase whatever penis bearing person is with or near me, including demanding to see the manager at FS once when with my arms loaded with perepherials the sales person addressed my ex husband who was standing behind me. I've done similar things at car dealerships - told the guy he would have had the sale If he had talked TO ME as from the onset I said the car was for me, not the guy with me

I would have gone to LD first as well, but my research on the Internet had pointed me to the Sharp Aquos as my first choice, and LD doesn't carry Sharp... so FS is local, and I headed there. But you are correct, generally speaking the only time I go to FS is if I know exactly what I want and cannot get it elsewhere.

I went Toshiba - BUT my TV is way smaller than yours (32") it had to fit my tv stand after all
