My current job was meant to be temporary. Like all temporary job, it is hardening into permanence and devouring giant chunks of my soul every day. Unfortunately, I am terminally incapable of getting another job. Applications and interviews everywhere but nothing. Zip. nada. I've found my reasonably laughable level

ha, reminds me of my "2-week temp job" a few years ago which stretched out to an 8 month contract (and I only finished it up because I had booked a ticket overseas).

what sort of work are you looking for? something web content editingish?

hehe.. well if you have media experience/qualifications and don't mind a bit of data entry (but interesting data entry!), i can keep an eye out for roles at my work. theres nothing going at the moment and i think they are still enforcing a 'hiring freeze', but theres always roles cropping up if the timing is right. let me know! :)

Tim - hang in there love, something WILL turn up. In the meantime, try to keep yourself sane by filling the time you're not at work with good, happy, positive and always make sure you have stuff to look forward to (like your trip to Melbs!).
