I don't know about everyone else, but I had an awesome Christmas. 
AND I beat everyone at Monopoly (no, it is not luck. It's totally skill).

Now that I had a whole day of freedom, I've started to realize how much I've missed reading. Not the crappy romance novels because those don't count. What I miss is the 'bring transported to different world'

Also, I think the LOTR party is a great idea. I've been in the epic story kind of mood lately.

Speaking of Romance Novels, I tried once again to read that little gem Cam gave me last year. I got too disgusted and wound up throwing it out of my hands.

And OMG! I saw your husband on TV the other day! He was being sad and broody and his dad was being a psychotic schmuck. But he road his horse stupidly gallantly into battle anyway. You would have been very proud. He was looking very fine, and he told me to tell you he'd totally tap you. ;) his boots were awfully nice too

And did you hear back from UChicago about financial aid? Are you applying to any other schools, or are you done?
