Hard time, broken harts

Oke, this is a personal thing, but it is my livejournal, so, if you don't want to read my soft stuf, just skip this one.

This is a serious problem.
For about a year now, this guy is sending me e-mail and SMS messages, in which he declares his love for me. Now this guy is seen as very friendly in our Star Wars ‘club’. Always laughing, always willing

Ugh - there's nothing worse than a stalker! I'm sorry! I don't know the best way to deal with it. I would definitely not respond to his messages - you don't want to give him any mixed signals or anything.

I think I know too well what you mean about difficult situation in a fan club.
Our re-enacting group has dealt with several awkward situations because of the social relationships of the members. Last being when my ex and I broke up. It is so frustrating to see a group of friends being divided. And your situation is even worse since the boy is stalking you. I agree with Maggie, you should not respond to him anymore. Be strong, I am sure you will go trough this. *hugs*

agreeing with the two above ladies- not responding seems like the safest thing to do. I haven't had any encounters with diffucult situations in a fan club, but I'm sure that this will resolve itself somehow, either in him moving on and getting the picture or someone else pointing it out to him.... *hugs*

Thank you all for the support! *hugs back* I think I just needed someone to say to me to just ignore him instead of handeling it of nice and quiet. I just hope he leaves me allone. It will be difficult because we see each other on events and such...but I hope he moves on.
