Summary:  Jack promised he'd get them all home and he failed, while on the island things are going from bad to worse without the Oceanic Six. Matters are complicated when Aaron is kidnapped. This picks up where the finale left off. SPOILERS, Jate, Suliet, Others.

That was an interesting discussion about the improbable and the impossible - very Faraday-like! I think it is in character for Sawyer to become the new leader even if he thinks he is conning himself and everyone. You also drew a neat parallel between Juliet and Jack's frame of mind. I also like the little science and philosophy tidbits you open each chapter with.

Thanks, Faraday is a fun character to write and it's handy that he has a very diverse science background. I agreed that Sawyer is most suited for the job, especially after season three when Jack was away and he was encouraged by the other survivors to step it up. The next chapter is up. :)
