Vote!

Nov 06, 2012 10:23

It took over an hour and a half, but I have officially voted! (I swear, the lines looked JUST like On-Site Registration at Anthrocon.)

If you haven't voted yet (and are able to), go vote!

:-)

We had long lines, but they were surprisingly fast! It only took me 15 minutes to get through. :3 *wears her "I Voted" sticker with pride*

To all Americans:

To keep it really simple, what are the top 3 policies or pledges given by your candidate, made you chose that person over the other?

Congratulations on voting! I had a feeling you would’ve voted, given your engagement which comes with being an American citizen. :>

I would’ve so much wanted to vote in your election! :> Alas, I cannot, and should not. I would not want to meddle in the internal affairs of another country. :>

I hope you picked a winner, Tyrrlin!

I’m glad to see you engaged in the political activities of the United States.

I got through my line in about 50 minutes during lunch, but by most accounts I heard 2 hours was the norm in this area.

The ballots themselves were super quick (electronic! fancy!), just that darn line that ate up all but 20 minutes of my lunch break :p.
