So, my cat Sarge has been having vomiting issues. We had to take him to the vet just over a month ago due to him vomiting blood one morning. At the time his kidney levels were off, as well. I'm not qualified to diagnose anything, and radiographs are not a specialty of mine, so I don't have too much to add to what the vet already said. Lots of gas in the guts, which doesn't surprise me, but will probably make him very uncomfortable until he lets it loose. Godspeed if you're in the room when he does :p. And yeah that right kidney is teeny! I've seen that in a lot of older cats known to have abnormal kidney values.
Hopefully he'll just have a ew days with GI upset and that'll be that. Keep an eye on him over the weekend, if his gums ever start looking pale, or he acts weak or like he can't catch his breath, he'll need to get back to the ER right away. Chives can cause Heinz body anemia and that's even less fun than gassy tummies and vomiting.

Well, you can see his right kidney is much smaller than his left. In ultrasound, you could really see the difference. Big boy is back home now (in my lap, actually) and we've got some new food from the vet to try.
No arthritis? That's very good news!
