Physical Description:
Eyes: Almost black
Hair: Black, waist-length in true form, shoulder length in human form (her preferred form)
Build: Tall and trim (swimmers body)
Distinguishing Features: Sea blue skin in her true form as well as elfin shaped ears. Several scars on her body (covered by clothes) in both forms. The two most noticable scars are on her right shoulder, one that looks like a long sword gash, and the other (super imposed on top) a werewolf bite.
Wand: 13 1/2 Manzanita (a very hard wood with a dark red colour) with her own blood in the core wand specially made.
Pet: A kestral named Taelesin
Broomstick: Nimbus 2001 (also has her original Nimbus 1000 which stays in her office)
Other: Can use some of the more simple spells of her race, such as getting into a person's mind (like a much more refined legilimens spell) and a few other defensive things. Her abilities are only about 1/4 of what they would normally be if she had been properly trained, but since she was taken away at such a young age her training could only go so far. Everything she does requires that she actually touch the person in question that she will be using her powers on. She can also change her appearance to look human (which is her preferred appearance) Due to something that happened back in 1000 AD she cannot remember anything before that year.
Interesting Fact: She gets drunk from Pumpkin Juice. If she does anything that harms another she will also feel the effects.
Interests: Potions, BOOKS, flying, BOOKS, dueling, BOOKS (we really won't get into her love for books....its not healthy...), Quidditch, BOOKS, did I mention books?

Family: Her mother and father, along with 6 of her siblings are living in an area unknown to her, she has lived with her brother Michea since the age of 5, and has recently been reunited with not only her son Jehan, but also her brothers Annanahrion and Aranel. She also has a niece named Delena, who is Michea's daughter. (appears to have some sort of mental link with her siblings)
Home: An apartment in Dundee Scotland as well as her office and room in Hogwarts.
History:
She was born the youngest of 10 children, the oldest being her brother Michea. When she was five she was spirited away in the middle of the night by him to save her from "certain death". The rest of her family supposedly died that night, killed by the humans they had brought into the city. She was too young to understand what was going on so she guesses she was lucky, for it has left a permanent scar on Michea. He taught her how to disguise herself as a human so she could blend in with those who supposedly destroyed their race. For countless years they traveled about, his hatred growing while her facination for humans and their customs did the same. She was in a terrible accident in the spring of 1000 AD, which left her memory of everything that had happened before locked away. It made it REALLY fun for Michea for a few years. She knows there is a block on her memory, and is trying to figure out what caused it so as to remove said block.
Around the 1400s they arrived in England and much to Michea's dismay she accidently reverted to her true form while speaking with a merchant. It caused an uprising and they had to flee the country (Apparently there are still stories about them). They arrived in France and traveled to Paris where she fell in love with a gypsy by the name of Clopin Trouillefou. Michea deserted her for falling in love with a human but she didn't care, she was in love. She had one child who she named Findecano, in human tongue Jehan. She opened an apothocary in the business center of Paris and was kept well financed by the church, who would constantly buy herbs and special made incenses from her.
Before Jehan was nine years old war broke out. She gave her son to a close friend to raise, not knowing of his latent powers.country. Melin faught in the war but was captured, along with her husband, and the two were confined to a cell to await trial (Melin had disguised herself as a young man and so was kept in the same cell). Expending the last of her magic to free her husband, though her efforts were in vain, for he was killed saving her from one of the guards. Michea found her and took her to his mansion on the outskirts of Paris, where she fell into an enchanted sleep. She later awoke in the early 1900s. After much studying of what had happened over the past centuries she traveled to England once again and took up residence in London. The years passed and she came to stumble upon a clipping from a wizard newspaper called the "Daily Prophet" for a teaching job at a wizarding school in potions. She applied for the job (potions being her specialty all my life) and she was denied due to never having gone to a wizarding school (or not knowing much about human magic period) but given the opportunity by Dumbledore to enroll as a student provided she look the part. Her curiosity got the better of her and she convinced Michea to move with her to Hogsmeade
She started her first year in 1971 and got sorted into Ravenclaw, though it was a close call between that and Slytherin, with only her lust for knowledge winning her into Ravenclaw. She spent most of her time working on potions (started working on the wolfsbane potion after discovering Lupin's "Curse" firsthand. Luckily immune to the bite (due to her blood) in most ways, though every full moon it still hurts like heck where she was bitten). Became friends with Lupin who in turn introduced her to Black, Potter, and Pettigrew. She was given the nickname Incendi after causing an explosion in the potions room and lighting Snape's hair (the two often had to work together) on fire. Was made Keeper for her team in second year and rode a Nimbus 1000. She developed feelings for Snape, though at the time she didn't know it...or preferred not to admit them seeing as how Snape was enimies with her other friends.
She defended Snape from Potter and Black at the end of their fifth year when she felt their prank had gone too far (was also required to do so as a prefect). But due to a miscomunication, (and a jinx by James) she began to hate Snape after a prank played on her caused an explosion in the great hall during O.W.L.S. She graduated with top scores in all her N.E.W.T.s and came back as Potions teacher until Snape took over the job (she became his "assistant" teacher). She continued hating Snape, though she no longer remembered why.
Present:
At the beginning of Harry Potter's fifth year she was fired, the reason being a question of her qualifications (underlying was also her race). She also discovered that she truly loved Snape, as well as remembered (and now laughed at) her reason for hating him. With his help she got her job back, but for a price.
Under orders from Dumbledore she joined the ranks of the Death Eaters (much to the dislike of Sirius and Snape...probably the only thing the two ever agreed on), and was placed as Voldemort's eyes and ears in the castle.
