Normally, I think of my year as beginning on November 1st and ending on October 31st. This year, however, I don't want to do that... because 2013 sucks right now. So 2013 can just finish sucking on December 31st and then I am done with it

I'm really sorry for your loss- Jim sounds like a terrific guy who will be missed by many.

It's going to be a very emotional holiday week. Jim was the guy who welcomed people into the theatre family in the best possible way- with self-deprecating wit and a sense of fun.

On the other side, after a hard year, we all need to let go of some emotion and I know Jim would be glad to see us lift a glass or three in his honor.
