i found out last week that they are giving me the boot from the navy b/c of my knee so i guess i am coming home to find a job and go to school. its not like i hve a choice b/c if i did i want to stay in.

i have to call my therapist tomorrow b/c i am supposed to be doing physical therapy on my own for a month and its been 3 weeks into that month and i haven't done any of it b/c its not helping my knee. so i am going to call her and talk to her about it and see if i can get into getting an x-ray early, and hope that i don't have to have surgery. i am ( Read more... )

i finally got that piece of paper stating that i can not climb the helo, run, or swim any more for at least 30 days i go back to see mmy physical theypist in 2 weeks and go from there if all is not well i will go to another doctor and thats where we decide if i have to have surgey or not.

i found out when i got back to work that last weekend 3 people 2 which were pilots and the third an aircrew man died in a helicopter crash. they worked 2 squadrons down from me and worked with and flew the same type of helicopter i am with. bascially what happen was that during the flight everything just bascially quit. they fell over a 1000 feet ( Read more... )

i passed my broad so i am now a plane captain. i am also now on a thing called hervac which is if we ever have to evacuate for a hurricane while i am stationed here i have to go on the helicopter with the pilots and fly to a ship so i can make sure they are safe to fly back. i am also waiting to here if my packet for harp duty is approved so i can ( Read more... )

i am back on the late night shift at work for a short time and its great. i needed a break from the sun and waking up around 4:30, 5am in the mourning.
