I HAVE BEEN TO TULA TOO!!! anonymous October 24 2005, 07:45:16 UTC
Jess, that is phenomenal. We went to Tula/Yasnaya Polyana like 3 weeks ago. We did not, unfortunately, have an awesome tour guide at the samovar museum, but we did realize that the samovar made of sugar a) had a bug stuck to it and b) seemed in places to be molding. I have also seen the flea that was horseshoed. Some people have far far too much time on their hands. I was kind of crabby on most of that trip because I was very hungry and do not mess with Karen when she is hungry. Did you stay at the amazing hotel at Yasnaya Polyana? It was phenomenal, for Russian standards.

Hey, so if this train ticket buying goes as planned ... SEE YOU THIS WEEKEND!
