I just have to say that I have loved Edna St. Vincent Millay since... I can't even remember when. Before High School.

Dirge Without Music was probably the one I first fell in love with and remains one of my faves to this day. What does that say about me? =)

This is gorgeous. I've never read it before. I'm glad that you posted it.

Whee! I do love this one. The history behind it is lovely. She wrote it in response to the Sacco and Vanzetti trials, and I've always found that so interesting.

Ohhh, I love that one, too. Millay is pretty much my absolute favorite. I remember having to do a project on a poet in high school and choosing her was so easy, where everyone else kind of... fumbled about going... "Poetry? x_x" just a bit. I probably still have it someplace.

Yey! ♥ It probably says we're just a wee bit morbid, considering. Maybe. But then, I suspect that fact's already very well known.

But Tizzy, don't you know - Justice is always denied in Massachusetts...
