i get depressed if i get bored. if i'm interested in something i'm relatively happy. i assume it's not that way for everyone though.

That's the way it *should* be for everyone.

It's just that some of us have gotten so out of whack (in body, mind and soul) that we get bored even by the stuff that is interesting (or used to be interesting).

And then we have to refuse to feel that way, and start to aggressively heal our souls. That's a long process, with many setbacks. I just happen to be in one of those setbacks right now, and had to shout it out to the universe.
