I have mixed feelings about phone interviews. For me, it's a roll of the dice as to whether or not they go well that seems completely out of my control. The fact that I grew up as an only child and spend most of my days frolicking around in my own imaginary dreamland doesn't help - for the most part I'm a socially awkward mess

i think most people have the same feelings you do. i know i do. on one hand i trained myself to just let go of everything, do the best i can and expect nothing. on the other hand, there have been jobs i was desperate to get because i wanted them so badly. and my interview was very over eager and almost rehearsed. the interviews where i was relaxed, calm and more myself were the ones i got. though i admit i did some ass kissing *puckers lips*
you just have to have the secret attitude of what will be, will be. and if they don't want me..fuck 'em...plenty more where that came from. BUT don't show that attitude in the interview! but don't act like it's life or death that you don't get it either. show eagerness to work with the company, be positive and give them all that horse shit about wanting to grow with the company, putting your talents to work and learning all you can.
