wow, love this story. And I love how crazy Charles seems but at the same time Erik doesn't have much to stand on either. And this kind of puts them both on more equal footing in terms of what they're willing to do for what they want.

Thank you! I don't know if they have a chance to get back together as couple in this 'verse, because I don't think Erik could keep loving someone he thinks is a rapist. But I do think that they have a much higher chance of coming together as allies in this 'verse because I think that Charles has finally forced Erik to see the good in himself by doing something so disgusting that Erik knows he would never do it. He is gaining much more sympathy for the humans, Moira particularly, and I think that in cannon one of the reasons that Erik allows himself to dive so deep into the grey area is because he knows Charles is fighting on the other side. Now he has to take full responsibility.

That's just my long winded way of saying that I think this 'verse has a smidgen of hope for the guys.

This is so immensely creepy, and no wonder Erik is creeped out by rape and breeding and eugenics, even though his own way is no better.

Creepiness was what I was shooting for. I found the Charles of the deleted scenes to be incredibly creepy and I took it to the next level. Thanks for commenting!

Wow.

Way to notch up the creepy!Charles. He went from sort of making me uneasy with his powers to nightmare fuel. Erik would most definitely not be okay with this. Ever.

And in truth, I like that something like this is what makes him forgiving of humans. I could honestly see him ending up with Moira in this 'verse. Particularly if he spends time with her baby. He'd have experience with children, after all, and ultimately, it would make him a better man.

Mentioning his wife and daughter were a nice touch, too.

Yeah, that icon is totally perfect. I honestly didn't think about Erik getting together with Moira in this 'verse, but I did see them developing a good working relationship/friendship. I think even though the Charles of this 'verse is fucked up, Erik will always be in love with him and any relationship with Moira just wouldn't be as deep.

I think their mutual love of Charles would tie them closer. BFFs perhaps?
