May I make a suggestion?
Fallout after Sleipnir figures out why his mom's a human now? :) You could fill in that bit of the story while you meditate on fallout. In fact, let's just put off the pain with Loki+Sleipnir quality time!

..... of course that's just a suggestion XD GOD I LOVE THIS. The birth amused me so much when the stable hands realized the foal had eight legs. The rest of it was beautiful, especially when Thor curled up beside the horse and Sleipnir after.

Oh, Loki isn't permanently a human at this point. He still has to nurse Sleipnir, after all. In fact, in the next part, he'll be fucking with Thor by only transforming back into a human when there are no witnesses to confirm that Thor isn't crazy.

But the brothers still have a lot of difficult conversations to have, even if Loki doesn't immediately reveal himself to anyone other than Thor.

Hopefully this Thor will not allow anything to be done to Sleipnir, and it would be interesting to see if Sleipnir inherited Loki's intelligence.

I hadn't really thought about that. Sleipnir being Odin's horse sucks, but it's not as bad as what happened to Loki's other children. It really depends on how much of a horse he is, and I haven't decided that yet.

I love your story! summontrouble June 16 2012, 17:28:13 UTC
Thank you for writing and sharing this lovely story! You have a wonderful way with words, and you've had me hanging on every update. :) I wish you all the best for the rest of the story. My heart longs for the AU where the events of Thor and the Avengers don't happen, but I am sure you will handle whichever choice you make masterfully.
