By now I just hope you'll keep going :) I can honestly say this is one of those fics that will never overstay its welcome, the way it's panning out. I ADORE this fic, and the way you deal with Thor's changes, and with Loki's sweetness as both the horse and himself.
Also, Sleipnir is ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE. There's no hating that <3
Thank you! I guess I am always conscious of the list of fics at the back of my mind that started out great and then kept rambling on until I gave up on them.
I decided to go AU with this because after I started writing I just fell in love with the idea of Thor changing gradually instead of on some three day binge as a mortal.
As for Loki, he's sweet now, but he hasn't been able to speak for nearly a year and since then has only talked to Thor, who is absolutely devoted to him at this point. Once other people start intruding on Thor and Loki's little bubble, I suspect Loki will get a little of his bite back.
I'm perfectly happy with the pacing. It feels right, and I personally don't feel that the main characters are at a point in their relationship where there should be sexing. I like what you're doing, and I hope you keep going the way you want to!
Thank you! I'm not really looking to push their physical relationship, just more wondering if they need to have one at all. Right now I'm enjoying writing them as brothers, but I've written myself a bit into a corner on that front.
