This is beautiful. I'm so glad you reversed the contexts, where Thor is the one who's stung by Loki's lack of attention instead of the other way around. Beeeeeeeaaaautiful and I mean it so much.

Thank you! I recently watched the extended scene of Loki and Thor discussing going to Jotunheim and Thor looks so hurt when he thinks that Loki might not go with him. I don't really agree with the character interpretation of Loki longing for Thor's attention. I think he's always had Thor's attention, but not his admiration. And it seems to make sense based on their chosen hobbies. Loki is not excluded from fighting or hanging out with the band, but Thor is excluded from Loki's magic.

I adored that scene, and I think (as an older sibling) that they used to do everything together, and he still expects the same attention while Loki, less so.

At least, I know I always want my sister's company while she wants mine less.
