≈ Rules & Guidelines ≈

Rules and guidelines are crucial to everyone's experience here. We want to keep things running as smoothly as possible! Rules are subject to change, however, but such changes will be noted in an update post from the mods. If you have any questions, feel free to look over the FAQ page. If your question is not answered there, you can totally ask us in that thread whatever it is you want to know!

1. You must have a month of activity before apping a third (and then fourth, if you so choose) character.

2. You may have four characters after a month of activity.

3. Missing an activity post will remove you from the member list--however, you may renew your membership by speaking to either the mod account or Meg through her AIM account, VerilyErgo.

4. Hiatuses are allowed, but only for one month. The only exceptions are 1) medical reasons, 2) family problems, 3) complete lack of computer or internet access. The extension of a hiatus must be discussed in the player's hiatus post with one of the mods. Mods reserve the right to not allow for a hiatus extension. When one returns from hiatus, one must make a post signifying the end of said hiatus in the OOC community.

5. Make an IC post and an OOC post when you become a new member. Old members apping new characters don't have to make a new OOC post unless they really want to.

6. Posting of images/fics/long posts must have LJ cuts.

7. Adult situations will happen. Should you be doing a log, please put a warning in the entry beforehand. There will be consequences if you do not.

8. Harassment/drama will be dealt with according to the situation. Otherwise, please avoid drama at all costs. We do not tolerate drama here.

9. Ask the mods permission about events before posting in the main community.

10. Individual events/interaction posts are encouraged within character journals.

11. Memes in the OOC comm are also loved and encouraged. You don't have to ask permission to post those!

14. Should you want to drop, please post a drop notice in the OOC community with the appropriate tag.

15. You don't HAVE to write in paragraph style. Some of us get lazy and revert to casual style, so you won't be looked down on for it. Trust us. We like to have fun too!

16. No godmodding. You cannot control another character's actions unless you have their express permission. If you are plotting with someone, keep in mind that your character does not know all that you know. It makes tagging and interacting much easier. If someone is godmodding, feel free to say something about it.

17. Please stay active. If you don't want to post in this community, drop from it. Leaving a character here but having them be inactive is called character squatting and isn't fair to other potential players.

18. Be courteous and respectful to your fellow players! However, IC interaction is not OOC interaction. Characters may be at one another's throats, but that does not mean that the players themselves hate one another and it does not mean things should be taken personally. The reverse is true--please try not to let OOC hostilities get in the way of character interaction within the game. We're here to have fun!
