Dear cmdr_default, I MEAN ANDREW,
(I am most definitely not calling YOU "Commander," Lieutenant!)

STOP MAKING US LISTEN TO MARIAH CAREY. Although I do like an excuse to be roused to put on stampy industrial, it shouldn't be because I'm doing it to undo damage brought on by your bad taste in music.

Thanks.
~Marge.

The issue of playing certain songs repetitively comes up quite often over here as well. But surely he means no harm by sharing his enthusiasm for the song with the rest of you? Unlike a certain unwelcome resident in Erin's head, who has been subjecting all of us to his extremely questionable musical preferences for several days now.

I would be less inclined to appreciate his enthusiasm if it wasn't for the subjects of his enthusiasm. Some of them, for example, Lady Gaga, are respectable (though I'm not sure how mentally healthy he is about Bad Romance because he seems to be ideating himself into some of Ms. Gaga's outfits, making for very interesting mental imagery), but they're mostly pop idols that Kat would have reviled in high school.

...I am morbidly curious as to see what exactly said unwelcome resident's taste in music IS.

At least they're songs that mostly everyone enjoys now. I haven't been entirely pop. I like Pink Floyd and Owl City, too. >[

I'm sure Kat's co-workers are sick of her playing Bullet every morning. And of course her managers have to walk by whenever something with a weird, grating synth comes on.

Try explaining Panzermensch to the general manager, Margulis.

[trying not to smile] I ... I see. I suppose it wouldn't be fair of me to judge, since most of us here in Erin's head have taken an interest in some form of popular music at one time or another. I myself was one of the worst offenders for a while.

There is one good thing about our unwelcome Testament visitor; he's improved all of our images merely by being worse in comparison. We're all relieved that he's finally given up terrorizing us with this song (as posted by one of Erin's friends on LiveJournal), but he does have a tendency to corrupt otherwise inoffensive songs by associating himself with them. Erin is still annoyed with him for ruining The Truth Is In Here by Ayreon, and about half of the songs from Army of Lovers' Massive Luxury Overdose. -_-
