Today, on lucky 7/7/7, poor old Jack had to go. He was twitching, foaming at the mouth, and crying. Karen and I held him under water till he passed. He didn't struggle much as he went, and I think he knew it was time, and now he's free of pain. I buried him under his peony bush, and put catnip with him.
