In other news.

dont you think its a little sad that you have graduated from high school yet you still consider yourself a part of their choir? if i recall correctly, those who have graduated are NOT a part of their former classes anymore. and just because they are now having a choir trip and its 'not fair' that you didnt get one, that doesnt mean that you can jump into a choir that you already had a chance to participate in. i'm sure that most, if not all, of the choir members feel as if they are being jipped out of their full choir experience. even though you sing well, that doesnt give you the all high and mighty rights to go back to a choir at your FORMER school. stay at LSU, your CURRENT school.

i don't know who the hell this is, but you can grow some balls and admit who you are ... #1, #2, if this is the same person that commented earlier ANNONYMOUSLY, if u don't like what you read, get the hell off. and #3 i'm not jipping anyone out of ANYTHING because its not like i'm participating in anything else... i was INVITED to go with them on their trip to new york, thanks. i was on the audition tape that got them invited. i'm FRIENDS with half that choir, and I don't think anyone feels they're getting jipped, and if they did, I'm sure they would have complained already. I don't think I'm all high and mighty. so u apparently don't think i should go whoever this is, but i guess you're just going to have to suck it up and get on with your life and stop worrying about me. i don't see why it's that big of a deal. and no, it's not sad that i consider myself FRIENDS WITH HIGH SCHOOL PEOPLE.. i don't consider myself a part of their choir, if i did, i would be there all the time. i consider myself friends with a lot of people in that ( ... )

Okay in Mary's defense... this is obviously a person who still is in high school and since you're still a senior you have no clue what it's like to leave people and completely move on so excuse freaking her if she wants to go back and visit! I'm just sorry that you have nothing better to do than to get pissed off because she came back. Seriously get a life! Enjoy your senior year! She is not taking anything away from you so get over it and move on! She doesn't seem the immature one to me...

Erin (I got your back Mare!)

aww thanks erin! well that makes at LEAST 2 people who want me to come! i only know of 2 people who wouldn't want me to come. i think u could probably guess them - one of which would have only said f you.. the other would have done exactly what the annoynomous person did - do the "mature thing" and post annonymously.

hey Mary
I wouldn't mind if you came to New York with us. You would be great to hang with on the streets of the big apple! I do, however, feel bothered by you singing with us. I know G said you could come, but it feels really weird. We're not "Schola Cantorum and one alum". Oh well - that's G's decision and not mine.

I hope you don't get mad at me for being honest.

don't worry, i won't get amd at you for your honesty because you signed your name to it. i appreciate your honesty, it means a lot. i was asked to sing, and if it's not difficult i would really like to because it's the chance of a lifetime. i'm sorry it feels wierd, but I understand what you're saying. if i get the music and it's really difficult, than i won't. but there's always the chance of getting help. who knows, maybe you could help - i know you would LOVE to. haha. AND, I agree - i would be great to hang with on the streets! hahaha, but I heard yall were going to be on a tight schedule, so wouldn't have much time to hang on the streets. maybe that's not true, but that's what i heard. I guess i'm just going to play this whole situation by ear. I mean, i can only sing if the school approves of me going with the group. SO, your wish may come true, if they don't approve. But, thanks again for your honesty. I'm always open to peoples opinion - when they tell me who they are.

Alright, lets get things straight....Considering Schola isnt all that its cracked up to be this year, some people need to get a grip. Anyway...you want to talk to me about that later, go right ahead but I dont respond to anonymous people so....And I think it's completely fair that mary gets to go AND sing. Mary sang on the original audition tape. She is part of the reason we are going to New York. The only reason someone wouldnt want her to sing with us or come with us at all is if you had a problem with her. So the way I look at it people are just being mean. Mary is coming. That's it. She is going to sing with us and I am going to have a great time with one of my best friends in New York. If this ruins your trip then that's your problem. Stop being mean. If you had a chance to go to New York and you earned it, you would jump on it. I LOVE MARY ROBES! sorry to ruffle feathers but people just need to calm down. It's just a trip to New York and it's just choir that to be honest has not lived up to what I dreamed it would be. THis just ( ... )
