CSI: Albany??

I mean, really...what's up with the crime rate on Colonial Quad? We just got ANOTHER email about someone getting robbed. But at 6:20am? On the STEPS leading to the quad? This is the 4th email we've gotten from UPD just this month.

It's ridiculous. Colonial is the new Alumni, I guess?

What gets me is that the crime on Colonial, which is ON CAMPUS, has been more violent than what goes on at Alumni, which for all intents and purposes is midtown apartments. Stabbings, man! Stabbings!

I lived in Livingston a few years back. It was the ghetto. Not only were there cockroaches in my suite, but in my friend's suite a few floors up, there were pregnant girls getting into gang fights over cigarettes.

I find it to be disturbing. I had assumed things on uptown campus were much safer than on the downtown campus, but maybe that isn't so.
