you can also privatize things under this name so only you can see it, or customize a group of friends so only certain people can see it

yeah fo sho, i think i still kinda want my own just so i don't have to do that and i can just go back and see what i was really feeling on any given day =) (without having to go through the pointless entries)

Yeah I feel like I do that all the time. I don't write everything I want to write because I know people who I don't want reading my journal will read it.
