I can't really write this on my new fancy Japanese blog because it's not quite appropriate for the audience (mainly family members and professional people who I want to respect me more than normal) so it's back to LJ for the major whining

I'm sorry, I couldn't hear the sound of your guy troubles over the sound of the AWESOME that you're in Japan.
P.S. It's okay if he's crap at e-mailing you if you guys get like married later and crap. It's just now, and what happens later is for like then to happen. You know?
