Hi, I'm not in science or Sauder but I would like to help you out anyway. I looked up some stuff online and here's what I found:

www (.) sauder (.) ubc (.) ca /Programs/Bachelor_of_Commerce/Current_Students/Rights_and_Responsibilities/Academic_Assessment

1. Overall average: 60%+ and Core average (ECON, ENGL and MATH courses): 65%+, then PASS. Eligible to continue to 2nd year. You can also transfer to science no problem, as long as you have submitted the "change of faculty" form on the SSC by Jan 31.

2. Overall average: 60%+ and Core average: <65%, then PASS. However, not eliglble to continue to 2nd year. BUT, you can still transfer to science if you have submitted the "change of faculty" form by Jan 31 ( ... )

Thank you so much for all that info! I really appreciate your reply, it was really helpful, more than you'd think. I already booked an appointment with the Sauder advisor, and I'm glad I don't have to go in unprepared/take up time by asking too many questions. And according to your post, as long as I pass Math 101 with flying colours, I'll be fine to transfer into 3rd year science, so THAT'S a relief. Thank you for that wordpress link as well, I will definitely check that out.

Again, thanks for taking the time to reply!

You're welcome! I'm not sure if you are taking MATH 101 again right now, but if you are not taking it again until the winter session, also keep in mind there is MATH 103 and 105 as well. One of those also count towards Comp-sci and I heard (from people online) that it can be a bit easier than taking 101 with a slightly higher class averages as well.

Yeah, I've heard that as well! If MATH 105 opens up for the summer session, I'll go for that one. Thanks for the tip!
