well, since i am jessie...the clearest...the clairvoyant, i must tell you that i know nothing of radiohead. i could name none of their songs or their albums.

i can, on the other hand, name 10 rock bands, right now, that YOU'VE never heard of that have been rocking hard for quite some time.

in fact, my favorite bands are all rock artists...and no one has ever heard of them.

Oh, and I like Sigur Ros...but I guess I'll never understand any band you think is rad or will ever make you like any band that I like. It really sucks when reputations, expectations, and stereotypes about people prevent us from learning from each other. Isn't that what music is all about?

I guess I have a hard time with your essay. That is a pretty unfair essay from someone who champions most of Radiohead's catalog, minus Pablo Honey. This coming from someone who drove with me to Idaho because I may or may not of had to go to jail. For most of that drive we listned to radiohead albums, because they happen to be my favorite band. We talked and admired how they were able to succesfully manipulate the time signature multiple times in a song. Or Thom Yorke's vocals complementing the sensational musicianship manifested by the rest of the band

I was in a slanderous mood, so I opened my cd case and Radiohead was the first album I saw. But on a lighter note, "Not from someone who sits at their parents house all day playing make believe music critic to a faceless crowd." Thanks for that vote of confidence- I like writing, especially about subjects that can be argued, but attack my writing-not my character.

Besides that...get over yourself, the article was funny.

As friends, we have the luxury to attack one another's character, intentions, and integrity. If anything my attack, was warranted. You attacked me via a slanderous essay about something that happens to be an important aspect in my life...music. If I was going to attack you as a person, I would bring up the fact that you promised me you would pay me the money that you owe from your trip over new years. But I didn't. I kept all about your writing. How's the job hunt?
