I can't remember the last birthday I had that wasn't under the threat of a nasty storm. Ahh the perils of being a September baby.

I'm not normally one for self help books. In fact, most of the time, I detest them. However, every once in a great while, I'll come across one that I like. The other day, while shelving shipment at work, I came across one I actually liked so much that I bought it (love that 20% discount!).

Hilarious. Really.

I start my new liberal arts math class today, and of course, out of nowhere, I suddenly find myself plagued by the urge to start writing again. It's the same urge that dissipated last fall when I passed and said farewell to my final regular math class, and has eluded me ever since.

So I got a speeding ticket a few months ago. Today is day number 90 of the 90 days I had to complete traffic school to avoid points. Nothing like waiting till the last possible minute x). I'm in the middle of taking the online traffic school right now *snicker ( Read more... )

A couple weeks ago, the CD drive in my laptop died and i had to send it off to be fixed, and since i had no internetz, i fell woefully behind on teh LJ! I've had the comp back for a few days now and just got to go back over all the posts from the last couple of weeks. Luckily it doesn't look like i missed too much :)

During our trip to Olive Garden tonight, the waitress offered us a sample of the house blush. Normally I'd say no, but the screaming children at the table next to us quickly changed my mind.
