i like movies that have good stories! so westerns, sci-fi, drama, almost everything that is nice. an example might help? ok. i really like sophia coppola's 2 movies, i liked fight club, i like santos vs. the vampire women (it's old and in spanish but the english is overdubbed and it's supposed to be a hooror but it's really fun just because of the prose and style of retro-cinema) usually i'm not this descriptive but i like love stories a lot, but not the romantic comedy crap. i mean, it doesn't have to work out in the end. that's not the point. i like feeling a little upset. THE IMPOSSIBLITY OF LOVE. which reminds me, i made a little exhibit thing with a bird cage, door open, and a fishbowl on a stoll right beside and below the cage. the bird drown. it was called the impossibility of love. so what kind of movies do you like erin?
:+ wanna watch one?

yeah, I liked Sofia's virgin suicides. I like reading chuck pahlaniuk more than I liked the movie. I am currently addicted to silent films. I like japanese psychological thrillers as well as B grade japanese horror (the cheesy matrix/day of the living dead ones that are so very very cheesy) I like french film noir, hell, les triplettes de belleville even has noir elements to it. I am currently wanting to see The Dreamers, which is at 5th Avenue Cinema but I am broke so I have to find some kind of a way to see it. Dreamers, I have heard, is great in its 60s film references and my friend told me that it is photographically beautiful too. tonight I am going to vancouver art gallery for some more silent film watching. My number's 720-1370. I will be at misanthropy gallery on pender or maybe anti-social gallery on main after nine tommorrow night. I have to eat a giant feast and drink an apple martini from Jupiter because it is my birthday tomorrow!
