That heavy blanket of black rain clouds made their way through my area a few hours ago. It's only fitting that others get to enjoy what I had to go through.

With that said, sorry to hear about your strep throat! I have a persistent cough that's attached to some congestion and no matter what medicines I take, it won't go away. So I kinda know what you're going through.

Maybe unbearable illness in the form of strep throat needs old fashioned cures??? broth at a bearable temperature, ice cream or any other cold substance to atleast numb your throat...if you cant feel anything its better than feeling pain i suppose right?? Try stuff old people would tell you to try that isnt modern medicine, you never know. that just might be what you need to crack it. In the mean time, avoid crappy lifetime movies and opt for quality crappy movies. Innocent Blood and the Evil Dead series would be on the top of my list.

Strep Throat is the worst thing ever. I've had it a few times and I've often said I'd rather take a bullet than get it again. However, how long have you been on antibiotics? If it's been longer than a week and you're still not getting any relief, you might want to consider getting tested for mono.

The Kenyan has a good point. A lot of mono cases are originally diagnosed as strep cases. Otherwise, I have no other advice except to order you to get the fuck better, asshat! :P
