"We Belong" by Pat Benatar always ends up making it on my summer mix tapes. Lately, I've rekindled my love for Janet Jackson's "Rhythm Nation". A classic song, that one. As far as new music, I am one of the few people that thinks the new Weezer album is terrific fun.

I still have a soft spot for Head Over Feet by Alanis, though it has a dark side to it thanks to events of about 12 years ago.
Steph and I used You and Me (Lifehouse) as our wedding song.
Landslide (Dixie Chicks or Stevie Nicks, depending on your preference).
One Headlight (Wallflowers).

That's a few off the top of my head, I can maybe go for a few more if you'd like. :) And there's nothing wrong with being "that person".
