So recently, as part of my German independent study, I was faced with the task of writing a fairy tale auf deutsch, if you will. I struggled with the idea of a classical version for sometime, before settling on a more modern approach. The English version sounds clunky, so I'm sure the German one is riddled with mistakes and makes absolutely no sense at all. I'm going to get back an essay dripping with ink, and a very unamused Austrian staring me down as I pour over my mistakes.
