Here are the results of Night #2 of cake decorating class! We moved on from styrofoam to real cakes--mine was yellow cake with buttercream frosting.

Unfortunately, I brought it to work yesterday (before I posted this) and it was promptly devoured by my co-workers. I'm not sure how well it would have kept for 4 or 5 days anyway (I baked it on Tuesday), but don't worry--there will be more cakes to come in the future! I need LOTS of practice and will use just about any excuse to bake a cake! :oD
