it's a homunculus. It was the original theory on DNA--that there was a little person inside of sperm that contained all of the infinite bits of information possible to be known in the world. I just really dig the idea--I'm kind of into gross-ish fetal-related type things and I really like the idea of something completely simple holding all of the potential for anything in the world. i'm glad you like it! I think Ben's is sweeeet.

So, like, in case you couldn't tell, the diamond in the head is supposed to be the opening the knowledge. And it's got a big head and feet and hands because those are the things with which most ideas are worked out in the world.

I'm glad! thanks! And yeah, i know. I just had to get warmed up for the tattoo somehow. After being tattoed on my spine, i can't fathom how on earth you lived through getting your neck tattoed.
