Well, the enthusiasm has started to wear off, and creeping lethargy is waiting to take its place.  Today is the third straight day I've been "covering desk", which means subbing in for an assistant who's either sick, on vacation, or somehow aware of the fact that they can abuse the new intern by skipping work.

My days have been mostly flatline,
