Mission Pumpkin

I carved a pumpkin again this year. All pumpkins should have french names so this one was called Henri. He is quite scary looking and fairly traditional in style. While I was scooping him out I decided that I want to grow my own pumpkins for next year. Where do you get babby pumpkins from? DO you just get seeds in garden centres? I might join you in trying to grow some. I've also got some elephant garlic to try to grow. Each clove is as big as an entire bulb of normal garlic. SOunds cool to me

I think you get them from garden centres, I have saved the seeds from Henri and am planning on trying with those. You need to build a bit of a heap of compost to grow them on apparently. I knew my compost bin would come in handy one day!

hmm your pumpkin seems to have a deffinite lizard-y feel to it

well thats what i see anyway...maybe its like an ink blot test thing :)
