Making people laugh is the lowest form of humor

Today's worktime entertainment was my very first effort at subversive character fiction, as inspired (at least partially) by shadowofsadness and newsmantim.

Maybe I should back up a bit.

Thanks. Unfortunately, though, I seem to need inspiration in the form of irritation or other silliness (for the prime example of this kind of humor, see Not My Desk.

If I receive any replies to the letter from Watson or Bernard (I emailed it to them both from a yahoo account), I'll be sure and post them.
