Just as a note, you know i'm buddhist, and we still celebrate Festivus, or whatever you want to call it. In our house, it is about family and food and just being an all around better person. When you do posts like this, i am equally insulted.

Evil begets evil, i guess.

Thank you for expressing something I've tried and failed many times.

I do like the holiday seasons, personally. There are parts of it which I enjoy. But I've found that nothing kills it for me quite like having it forced on me. Once I got rid of the people who felt it necessary to impose the supposed Christmas spirit on me, I could actually enjoy the season and the time in my own way.
