people either look through you and see nothing to focus on but themselves, or you can look into them and see a mess of a human being. filthy, selfish, malicious. in some people you can truly see it all. it is revolting, and i hate dealing with those types.
Even scarier than that though are the people who have built elaborate masks to trick you into thinking that they aren't crap in flesh form.
It's easier to be "blind and stupid," and at times necessary in order to make progress. The whole "job" thing is fucked; R had a quote in her recent entry about friendship that applies to something I talked to her about involving the human desire for power over others:
