Not that I know, but it's fun to pretend and sound like I do. ^_^

Let us all be grateful however, for your sake, that the SAT's are not about testing one's ability to know when to use than or then in a sentence.

If as early as the 1600’s there was an emphasis on sounding smart, than the SAT’s seem to stand as our modern day preoccupation with the idea.

That should totally be a then.

I respectfully refer you back to "burn-out imminent".

^_^

Besides, I'm more worried about the overall not-very-goodness of the paper as a whole then a typo. ::smirk::

You're probably right, and that's a depressing look at society. You're also on the intelligent side of the archaic vocabulary hurdle, so try not to overturn that particular bit of The System until I'm done taking advantage of it, hm? ^_ ( ... )

Its one of those test-your-knowledge tests that we have to take in order to get into college. The higher the score, the better chance of getting into a good college.

I don't think we have those thingys in Canada, but I'm not sure. I believe we only have lame tests in Grade 3, 6, 9 and 10...and the rest is up to your grades and tests like the math contest that's in February...but that's optional.

Ben, not sure if you're still around/even care, but this is Rogan with a new journal. Just didn't want you to get left out of the loop when I migrate from the old to the new.

*hug* Hope everything's well with you.
