Doubt is a bad bad thing. Every time I doubt myself with the whole cake shop thing something comes along to encourage me. Kinda weird but kinda cool.

You started a small business in a recession. Know what that means?

NOBODY IS GOING TO LAY YOU OFF. =]

Enjoy it. Entrepreneurship is terrifying at times, but you can tell an awful lot of people to just get the fuck out of the way.

Seriously, if you get on your feet during a recession, you will annihilate any "competition" you have after that recession ends, believe me. And this is coming from a pessimist.

Remember Ted Turner's words of wisdom:
