it was strange, i live in georgia, and the other night i was driving down the road and saw someone from my town with a ku alumni tag cover. and a ku sticker in the window. i was like "hell yeah!" then i saw they bought their truck in the town my grandma lives in (ottawa), which really freaked me out. ok, enough of storytime.

Your grandmother lives in Ottawa? Holy Cow...lots of them. Did you know the damned Get Up Kids have a recording studio in Eudora, which is just outside of Lawrence? The midwest is freaky, I tell ya. I live in Kansas City. Everyone in my family is a huge Jayhawk fan. Tis also where I am going to Law school. How on earth did you become a KU fan?

yeah, my dad grew up in ottawa. went to ottawa high school. him and my mom met while going to benedictine college in atchison. then he went to ku for his masters, and i was born in lawrence. so i've always been a big ku fan. i got accepted to go there, but out of state tuition is a pain in the ass when i could go to in state for free. so i ended up going to uga. i have a goal to one day see a game at allen fieldhouse.

Games at Allen Fieldhouse are like no other, I tell ya. It kicks serious ass.
