I went to Fanfiction.net looking for general fics concerning some of my favorite books, I happened to find one of the best written if not the best The Little Prince By Antoine de Saint-Exupéry story from the Aviator's perspective.

I can't even express in words the sheer brilliance of this story.  The title alone lends the premise of the whole story.  Without giving too much of the story: the aviator lives by the teachings of the Little Prince as the years pass. He ponders over the Prince, the planet and its volcanoes, the rose and the fox. He laughs when he gazes at the stars, tends to his garden and tries to befriend a fox.

It's heartbreaking at it's core and yet...............it's pleasing to read that he still remembers the meeting between himself and the Little Prince to be the most pivotal all throughout his life. He clings to it actually and at the end he's granted his wish.

NorthernTrash-x has written a beautiful story and I don't think that any fault can be found with it. The author has carefully thought out the passage of time for the Aviator, is not repetitive and presents a poignant reminder that everyone grows-up regardless if we try to abide or cling to childhood.

It really is worth reading.

After reading this, I would like to think from a realistic viewpoint that these event's occur. They certainly do fit with my opinion of how the book ends. Although I do like to think that the Aviator and the Little Prince meet again and go on adventures on his new plane. Meet strangers along the way and that maybe just maybe the Aviator in some way get's to visit the Prince's planet.
