I have a bright spot this week in the form of fanfic.

The HP 2008 OWL Awards nominations are up, and thank you so much to all the kind people who nominated me. There are a few (I'm too scattered to keep track right now - forgive), and I'm thrilled with all of the nominations, but especially happy that 'Back in Black' is up for a few categories. First off, congrats on your nominations because you always deserve them. You are one of the best writers out there, in any fandom.

Second, for your banner, I actually scanned my copy of the comics for that. It hurt to press it flat against my all in one but for you, it was totally worth it. :)

Oh, no! I hope you didn't hurt the spine. The banner is made of awesome, but the Fray arc (for now) was the last good thing going in the comics. Thanks again - it is perfect.

If I did, I'm not too worried about it. LOL I'm not keeping them as collector's items but more just reading material to keep current.

Yay! Well-deserved. This reminds me that I had "Girl's Got A Grudge" open in tabs for ages and kept meaning to comment, and haven't. Sorry! It was very very good. I almost never read f/f but I trusted you on this one and it was so worth it.
