Have fun at GenCon! Also, be sure to check out _Shifting Forest Storyworks_. It's a company started and owned by close friends of mine that sells pre-written "Parlor Larps". They are one-shot larps designed to be run in one room with minimal preparation in 4-5 horus from character sheet distribution to end of wrap-up. Character sheets have questions on them to personalise them, so each time you play the game is different, unlike the boxed "How to Host a Murder" games which are inherently non-replayable. They come in many different genres from sci-fi and murder mysteries, adaptions of plays and stories, to psychological horror. Very effective psychological horror. they should be running some at the con (events LP00084-LP00093; Mirror Room gets rave reviews and is psychological horror). Tell them you're my friend; I don't think it'll get you a discount, but it'll make them feel happy. :) Oh right, price. 10$ per larp, which includes mechanics, GM tips, setting ideas, GM aids, and character sheets. I thought the *purpose* of Gen Con was to spend it unconscious. The trick is to be unconscious in interesting places.
