I saw “Antony and Cleopatra” today and…yeah. It was AWESOME. I had worked myself into such a nervous, anticipatory state that I thought I was gonna throw up by the time the show actually started. I’m surprised I didn’t.

Love love love this :) I'm really glad that *I* introduced you to Kate Mulgrew. It makes me feel all smug. Also, I wish I could have seen it with you since Kate, I'm sure is epic.

Also: I'd rather see Meryl live, so I can live with not seeing Kate this time. Had you been in row two of say... The Seagull. I would have seriously cried myself to sleep in jealousy.

OHHH also I want to see Nana Visitor in something on Broadway. I hope she goes back to there. Also, I want to see Debra Monk on Broadway... I'd be all melting and bffing and asking her to marry me, etc. (Remember the plan right? It's all worked out)

But that is NOT to put down the Mulgrew. She has such a huge presence in rooms, in conferences, in life. It would be fantastic just to breath the same air that she was as you watched her genius unfold.

You are a verrrrryy lucky girl!

So glad you had such an epic experience!! I would love to see KM live and in any context so I'm sporting a slight tinge of green right now. ;)

You can find bright spots all around you if you look deep enough for them. Don't tie your happiness strictly to events like these - - make your own memorable moments. There is beauty all around.

Namaste.
