Nothing wrong with asking your prof for help when you need it. That's what he/she is there for!
I'm in a mental health counseling program - the research project is essentially a master's thesis, and the current part I'm working on is coming up with a preliminary reference list for the three different topics that I'm considering. It's a complete pain in the ass! I feel like I should know what I'm doing having only graduated two years ago. I did end up writing to the professor, but I feel in a way like it's me just telling her that I'm an idiot. What did you go to school for?
I might be overthinking this. I have a tendency of doing that.
English (read: Literature) so lots of paper-writing and attendant research. Now I spend a lot of time grading other people's papers. Hm. Hardly seems like a just dessert. LOL
I suppose preparing for three different topics lets you find out which is most workable, but ouch!
What did you graduate two years ago? University? That's not necessarily a reason to know what you're doing now. ;-) I mean, did you ever have to do something like this before?
