There is nothing better in a medical emergency than a sarcastic doctor with a terrible bedside manner. Bones is at his best in his witty, antagonistic repartee with Spock and I love every second of it.

It took a while for Troi to grow on me, but I cannot help but love her empathic skillz, her crazy mother, her orgasmic love of chocolate, and that lovely teal dress.

It’s true: I love the manwhore of the galaxy. There is nothing better than a Starfleet captain who excels in deathly judo chops to the neck.
Top Ten Favorite Star Trek Characters | 6. B’Elanna Torres
B’Elanna, jonwI’ma’. I love an angsty, damaged woman, and Voyager’s Klingon-Human hybrid fits that perfectly. She’s troubled, sarcastic, angry, bitter, hurt, and so very loveable.
Top Ten Favorite Star Trek Characters | 5. Kira Nerys
Not only is Kira a hot redhead, she’s a strong woman who has struggled with her demons to get where she is. Plus, her mirror universe counterpart, the deliciously leather-clad Intendant, is evil and exquisite.

Seven didn’t make it into my top 5 just because she’s hot and looks delicious in her biosuit (okay, maybe that’s a tiny contributing factor). I love that she’s arrogant and stubborn all while being adorable. Assimilate me anytime, Seven.
Top Ten Favorite Star Trek Characters | 3. Beverly Crusher
If Dr. Crusher were my CMO, I’d create a holoprogram of M. C. Escher’s stairs just to throw myself down them to have reasons to go to sickbay. It’s not just because she’s a hot redheaded doctor, okay? She’s also smart, stubborn, adorable, passionate and she reminds me of my bff.
Top Ten Favorite Star Trek Characters | 2. Kathryn Janeway
I’d be pretty down with chillin’ in the DQ for 70 years with Janeway in charge, even if I’d spend most of it in the brig for sexual misconduct. Even though she drives me a little crazy sometimes with her “diplomacy” and blind faith in others, she’s pretty fuckin’ badass. Only a woman with brass balls would take on the Borg about 300 times just to keep her girlfriend safe.
Top Ten Favorite Star Trek Characters | 1. Spock
Spock was the only logical choice for my favorite character. I can’t even entirely sum up everything I love about him; I love his wit and his eyebrow-raised smirks at Kirk’s antics. Spock is, quite simply, perfection. Live long and prosper.
