Author's Notes: Back in January of this year, I went on a trip to St. Thomas to visit my mother. Now, I'm not much of a beach girl, so in my whining to kitnkabootle, she suggested that I write a fic based on a prompt that she would give me. I agreed to the challenge…and then she gave me the prompt: "webcam." Talk about a challenge. This could have been a teeny, smut-filled one shot. I really tried. Alas, 40 thousand words and 122 pages later, it's...um…evolved. It has plot (who knew!?) and so much unresolved sexual tension that you could kill a horse….or a nun…or a corpse.
Thank you to ellipsisoveruse for being such a helpful, motivating (completely unselfish) beta. Seriously…this girl's been battling headaches like nobody's business, and still she worked her ass off to help me. She's been so supportive throughout the entire process and I couldn't have done it without her! Also, thanks to dragonwine for his inspiring pep-talks when I've been ready to crawl under the desk and hide.
This is dedicated to kitnkabootle. Today (the 30th of August) is her birthday (mine too, incidentally) and I decided that this made the perfect excuse to finish it.
