Author's Note: Well, when I wrote this, I imagined it with Meredith's voice in mind, though I suppose it could be a variety of characters. I always find myself really moved by the Grey's narrations at the beginning and end of the episodes, and so I tried my best to put that forth. *holds breath*

Love has a crazy way of showing up in the wrong place at the wrong time for all the wrong reasons. Sometimes, if you're really unlucky, love comes 'round the corner and hits you upside the head with a frying pan the size of Minnesota. You're out for the count and for better or worse, you're stuck with a shiner that'll have you wincing every time you move. But, what we must remember, above all things, including those moments of pain, is that love is a gift. Love is the stuff of fairytales. It's what people fight for….die for. It's what people wait all of their lives for. We try so hard nowadays to find that kind of love, so who's to say that the crazy kind of love isn't the one that was meant for you all along?
